Finally the peak summer intensity has mellowed leaving a feeling of calm , peace and excitement, The temperature is perfect . The beaches and roads have emptied returning to their normal quiet Algarvian pace. September brings tranquility, amazing sunsets and excellent surf ! We are now offering surf boards and wet-suits for hire so you can head off to the west coast fully equipped and ready to experience the exhilaration of a dawn surf and make the most of a weeks meandering up the spectacular coast line in this area, infamous for its top surf spots. We can also hook you up for some personal tuition from a pro surfer or direct you to a surf school. Flights are cheap again and the summer vibe rolls on .... we have a few weeks left in september so drop us a line ...

Whilst our vans are impeccably maintained and reliable, we cannot foresee any mechanical breakdown, for this reason we limit travel to within the Algarve and Costa Alentejo. This allows us to get to you quicker from our base near Tavira and sort out any problems. This is a very big region filled with stunning scenery, magnificent beaches and offers an array of activities.
As you will be flying here we advise you to pack light as your van will contain everything you need, although these are well designed they are not 50’ winnebagos and space is limited.

Full tank of unleaded , to be returned with the same.

Kitchen basics are :
Kettle
2 saucepans
Frying pan
Plates bowls and cups for 4 (we can change this for childrens requirements)
Cutlery.
A full tank or bottle of LPG gas.
Tea towels

Compact folding table and 2 chairs.

A sunshade that clips to the side of the van.

We provide pillows, pillowcases and a blanket. Although some people prefer to bring their own sleeping bags we can provide duvets, duvet covers and sheets, for an additional ¤15.

Maps and guide book, including comprehensive guide to campsites and our own top locations.

A complimentary bottle of sparkling vinho verde.

We can provide a basic hamper to take the stress out of finding a place to go shopping straight away, this includes, mineral water, milk, bread, butter, cheese and cereal. This is included for a small extra cost of 20 euros.
